LINCOLN, Calif. -- A woman was killed and a man suffered serious injuries Wednesday in a two-vehicle head-on crash in Lincoln, the California Highway Patrol said.

CHP Officer Kelly Baraga said the collision was reported at about 12:20 p.m. along Sierra College Boulevard just north of Twelve Bridges Drive.

Baraga said a 66-year-old Lincoln woman driving a light-colored Buick died. Her name was not immediately released.

A 66-year-old Lincoln man driving a sport utility vehicle was taken to Sutter Roseville Medical Center for treatment of his injuries.
