SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- Three burglars robbed a disabled, elderly man of money and other items in his Sacramento home on Wednesday afternoon, police said.Authorities said the burglars knocked on the door of a home in the 5500 block of Golf View Drive, which sits near Bing Maloney Golf Course. The trio opened the unlocked door, went inside and confronted a teenager. One of the burglars allegedly stayed with the youth and told him not to interfere, police said.
The other two burglars went into a bedroom where the boy's 77-year-old grandfather stays and rifled through his possessions. The grandfather, who suffers from memory loss, initially thought the burlgars were friends of his grandson, police added. The burglars then left. Nobody was injured and no arrests have been made.
