Fire Destroys Sierra Ski Resort Lodge

PINECREST, Calif. -- Fast-moving flames destroyed an old lodge at a Sierra ski resort Thursday. The fire broke out around 7 a.m. at Dodge Ridge and destroyed one of the ski area's original buildings.
The lodge was built in the 1950s. It had been converted into office space and maintenance rooms for the employees. No one was inside the building at the time of the fire. The cause is under investigation.
