SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- KCRA 3 Reports has learned that a Sacramento police officer arrested for rape is the husband of another officer, who is still on the force.
Police officials announced Monday that Officer Darryl Rosen, 26, a five-year veteran of the force, is facing 13 felony charges, including rape and sexual battery. The alleged crimes occurred while Rosen was on duty.
A 16-year-old girl and a prostitute are among the alleged victims.Rosen was on paid administrative leave during the investigation into his alleged misconduct. Police officials said they are now in the process of firing him.
Police Chief Arturo Venegas Jr. said Monday that the evidence indicated Rosen acted alone.Rosen's wife is reportedly getting support from counselors and fellow officers.
