Woman Arrested In Bizarre Murder Case
Victim's Remains Found In Two Counties
An already gruesome case took a bizarre twist Thursday.
The remains of the same woman were found 100 miles apart Friday, the head feet and hands found in a Solano County orchard, a torso discovered in Sierra County.
The remains, it was later discovered, were those of 62-year-old Margaret Bernard.
Antioch police said Thursday night in a press release that they believe Bernard was killed by her daughter, 38-year-old Kendra Bernard.
Bernard was arrested and is custody, but authorities said that they still have no motive in the case.
