Student is assigned to the special projects producer to work 20 hours per week on a Monday through Friday basis only.

Candidate must be a highly motivated, independent worker willing to work on series and special projects. Perference will be given to students returning for a second internship or those with strong research skills.

Qualifications:

Student should be of junior or senior standing with strong research skills and sufficient core course work completed in a communications, journalism or related field.

Research skills are important for this position. Student must have excellent oral and written communication skills and be highly motivated.

Duties:

Student will research for story ideas, assist reporters and photographers in researching and gathering information for series and special projects and assist the special projects producer with any other assigned chores. Some field work may be required.
