Student is assigned to the Call-3 consumer assistant program to work 20 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications:

Student should be of senior standing. All majors will be considered. Student must have excellent oral and written communication skills, independent research skills, and be able to interact with volunteers with tact and patience.

The student must have superior telephone skills to interact with private and governmental agencies.

Duties:

The student works with the Call-3 coordinator, Call-3 volunteers, and the consumer reporter assistant. The student will be involved in consumer problem-solving and resolution.

Specific duties involve entering and retrieving records using Word Perfect and Windows, organizing and maintaining files, and writing memos and letters.

Shifts:

Position #10 Monday - Friday 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
